Upper Jaw Surgery and Lower Jaw Surgery

1. Braces are put on first

2. When the teeth are aligned, you are ready for jaw surgery

3. Jaw surgery is done inside mouth without outside scars.

4. Sectioning and repositioning the upper jaw and the lower jaw allows the surgeon to improve the symmetry

5. Titanium plates are used to hold the bone togther until it heals.

6. We never wire the jaws closed

7. Braces are continued after surgery
